MyMSJC Account Password Reset Error

Purpose:
MyMSJC accounts provide access to a number of useful tools like Self-Service, Microsoft 365 email and web-apps (for employees and eligible students), and other handy online resources. If you are completing the initial login process or need to reset your current password and receive the "We're sorry. You can't reset your own password because you haven't registered for password reset." error below, continue reviewing this solution.
Request an Activation Code

Visit login.msjc.edu and select Request a new activation code.
- Enter your Personal Email Address (on file with MSJC), select the appropriate Account Type, and mark Include a new Activation Code. Click Submit.
- Open your MyMSJC Account Activation email and select the User Activation link. If you do not receive this email after 15 minutes, please contact Enrollment Services to verify the email address on file.
- Enter the Username and Activation Code from the MyMSJC Account Activation email. Select the I'm Not a Robot box and complete the Captcha before clicking Continue.
- You will get a prompt that says User Identity Proven, select Set Your Initial Password.
- Follow the Password Complexity Rules to create a password for your account. Confirm your password by entering it again and select Continue.
- Select Try to continue logging in.
- You will be asked for your email address, enter your personal email address and select Continue.
- Check your personal email for a one-time passcode and enter the passcode in the given field and select Continue.

Select Try to continue signing in. You should now be able to log in at https://myapps.microsoft.com.
