MSJC RemoteApp: How to Access Microsoft Office 365

Purpose:
The MSJC RemoteApp is a service that provides students with secure, remote access to Microsoft Office 365 applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, through a virtual desktop environment. This document contains information and instructions for MSJC students on how to access Microsoft Office 365 applications through RemoteApp.
Accessing Microsoft Office 365
1. Proceed to myapps.microsoft.com and log in with your MyMSJC account credentials.

Enter your username
- Student ID + @my.msjc.edu (ex 0999999@my.msjc.edu)
- Enter your password

2. Select "MSJC RemoteApp Office 365"

3. Select which resource you would like to connect to.

4. Choose your In-Session Settings and select Connect.

5. Your session will then be prepared. This usually takes about two (2) minutes.

6. If prompted, select Sign In to grant permission to connect to your resource, and then select Yes to allow remote desktop connection.


7. To launch additional Microsoft 365 apps, select the plus sign located in the toolbar in the left-hand corner.

8. To exit the RemoteApp session, close the browser tab or window.

9. A confirmation window will appear, confirming your session has been disconnected.
