MSJC Accreditation Update
MSJC is in the process of seeking reaffirmation of its accreditation status. Accreditation is a fundamental process that educational institutions such as ours undergo every seven years to maintain established standards of quality and excellence set forth by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). This process not only ensures the highest level of educational quality but also allows us to provide federal financial aid, aligning with our mission.
A copy of the submitted Institutional Self Evaluation Report (ISER) is available on the MSJC Accreditation website.
In response to the ISER, the ACCJC Visiting Team issued a Core Inquiry Report, which will guide the Focused Site Visit scheduled for February 25-27, 2025. This report was presented to the Board of Trustees during a work session on December 17, 2024.
We encourage you to review the resources provided to stay informed about our ongoing efforts and progress.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to MSJC and your dedication to reaffirming accreditation for another seven years.
