MSJC is in the process of seeking reaffirmation of its accreditation status. Attached is the comprehensive draft of our Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER), as presented to the Board of Trustees on Thursday, June 13, 2024.
Accreditation is a fundamental process that educational institutions such as ours undergo every seven years to maintain established standards of quality and excellence set forth by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). This process not only ensures the highest level of educational quality but also allows us to provide federal financial aid, aligning with our mission.
The Accreditation Steering Group and the dedicated members of each individual standard workgroup have dedicated significant effort to develop our ISER. The attached is a comprehensive draft in which everything is now combined into one document. Note: evidence is not hyperlinked.
We encourage you to review this comprehensive draft to stay informed about our ongoing efforts and progress. As you review the comprehensive draft, note that ISERs are honest, evidence-based, and mission-focused self-evaluations based on our current policies and practices.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to MSJC and your dedication to reaffirming accreditation for another seven years.
