MSJC AppStream: How to Access Microsoft Office 2016

Purpose:
MSJC AppStream is a service that provides offsite access to internally hosted web applications that would normally be accessible only while onsite and connected to the private, internal network. This document contains information and instructions for MSJC students on how to access applications through AppStream.
There are several internal resources made available through MSJC AppStream. The instructions to establish an AppStream session will be the same for all applications.
Accessing Microsoft Office 2016
1. In a web browser, go to myapps.microsoft.com and log in with your MyMSJC account credentials.

Enter your username
- Student ID + @my.msjc.edu (ex 0999999@my.msjc.edu)
- Enter your password
2. Once logged in, select "MSJC Appstream MS Office 2016".
5. Select which resource you would like to connect to.
6. Your session will then be prepared. This usually takes about two (2) minutes.
7. A pop-up will occur and Select “Ask me later” and “Accept”.
8. Another pop-up will occur. Select “Next”.
9. Select “Close”.
10. To exit AppStream select the person icon in the top right-hand corner.
11. A drop down will occur. Select “End Session”.
