MSJC is in the process of seeking reaffirmation of its accreditation status, and we highly value your expertise and contribution to this crucial endeavor.
Accreditation is a fundamental process that educational institutions such as ours undergo every seven years to maintain established standards of quality and excellence set forth by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). This process not only ensures the highest level of educational quality but also allows us to provide federal financial aid, aligning with our mission.
The Accreditation Steering Group and the dedicated members of each individual standard workgroup have dedicated significant effort to develop the initial outline and draft of our Institutional Self-Evaluation Report (ISER). However, our work is ongoing, and we are again seeking your assistance in reviewing Draft 2, and the Quality Focus Essay (QFE), which is attached for your reference.
Your Expertise is Needed!
We invite you to participate by selecting a section of the 2nd draft of the ISER that aligns with your expertise or interests and reviewing its content for accuracy. It is crucial to note that ISERs are honest, evidence-based, and mission-focused self-evaluations based on our current policies and practices.
To begin, choose a section of Draft 2. Upon reviewing your selected section, we kindly request that you provide us with your insights through the open-ended feedback form.
Please submit one feedback form per section you review. Your valuable feedback will ensure that all the commendable work undertaken by our institution is accurately reflected in this vital document.
The deadline for feedback submission is 5PM, April 30th. You will need to sign in using your MSJC credentials to access the feedback form.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to MSJC and your dedication to reaffirming accreditation for another seven years.
