Mifi(Hotspot) Requests
Good morning,
In order to help us diagnose your request for a MiFi (Hotspot) device, you will need to provide the following information:
- First you will need a Director or above approval.
- The approval will have to state the requester's name (authorized person) and the reasoning you need a MiFi device. They are aware that this device will be charged to their department’s budget. And approve of the processing for a quote for a MiFi device.
- After acquiring that approval, attach it to your request that is sent to the helpdesk or this request.
- Once the network team receives your request with the proper approval then we will begin processing a quote for a MIFi device.
- Then you receive the quote from IT, which will be attached to your request.
- You (the requester) then submit a Purchase Request (PR) through Galaxy.
- Once the PR is approved and the PO is issued, Once paid the MiFi device will be shipped to IT department.
- Once the IT department receives it and verifies its setup you will receive another message from IT stating that your device is ready for pick up.
