Navigating the MSJC AppStream Menu

Purpose:
This document contains information for MSJC students on how to navigate the MSJC AppStream menu. There are several internal resources made available through MSJC AppStream. The information below details how to navigate the MSJC AppStream menu.
AppStream Menu
At the top of the AppStream window, you will see a row of icons pictured below.
- Catalog – Provides direct access to launch the available apps.
- Windows – When multiple apps are in use, you can switch between them using this icon.
- My Files – Provides a temporary storage location for uploading and downloading files when interacting with the apps.
- Clipboard – Shows the contents of the remote clipboard.
- Preferences – Allows modification of configuration settings; however, there should not be a need to modify any of these settings in most cases.
- Full Screen – Enlarges the session to full screen mode.
- Toggle Dual Monitors – Enables dual monitor mode. Click once to create a second session window, then drag the app windows within your session to the second window.
- Profile – Within the drop-down menu, you may end your session by clicking “End Session,” provide new portal feedback, select MSJC to re-direct to the MSJC website, and review the Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
