Out of Country Access- Student Request
Good morning
In order to help us diagnose your issue, you will first have to provide us with the following information: Are you currently outside of the United States and if so, what country are you currently in?
Please go to "whatsmyip" in a Google search and provide for us an updated screenshot of your IP address. ***Screenshot is required*** in order to process your request. It should be the numbers to the right of "My Public IPv4 is:"
Also, please answer the questions below:
- Name and Student ID Number or Name and employee ID + department:
- How long will you be out of the country (Exact date range is necessary):
- What is the IP address of your known location (You get this from "whatismyip" *screenshot required*):
- When will you return to the United States:
- Are you currently enrolled in a class as a student or are teaching a class:
- Are you using a VPN when accessing MSJC resources:
- When was the last time have you tried logging in? If you have not tried logging in today, please do so we can see activity from your account.
Also, please include a screenshot of the error that you are receiving.
Once you have provided the information above, we will submit a petition access for you for out of country access to the Dean of Information Technology.
Once we receive this information, and it's approved then we will process your request.
